With over 30+ years in the industry across sales, marketing and BD, Anirban has moved on to set up the largest Design Thinking consultancy in India - The Painted Sky. He is also an investor in climate action and sustainability at 7th Gen Ventures.
HIS STORY
Anirban’s core expertise & extensive research in start-ups focusing on sustainability, design thinking, ESG consulting and investments has played a major role in his recent career choices. His decision to support Sangatna as an Advisory Board Member is also a reflection of this.
Some of his earlier stints were across India, US and Europe at organizations like ITC Hotels, American Express, ICICI Prudential, Metro Cash & Carry, PwC and Intellectual Ventures.
When he is not thinking about The Painted Sky or global issues like sustainability and climate action, he turns to Jazz and books – for inspiration, comfort and continued learning.
As an investor and a citizen invested in the future of our planet, he believes that impact in the areas of sustainability and climate will come through action on the ground and not by being a shark. Having earlier worked on building a community that cares about sustainable fashion with one of the founders Sangatna, his decision to partner with them as an advisor in their journey was easy.
