GAYATRI D KALYANARAMAN
Gayatri has 25 years of experience in software technology primarily in financial services in program management and leadership positions. She has led large organization transformation projects that have helped them transition towards high performing units. She has the distinction of leading software delivery units that were tasked with big hairy audacious goals (like Merger of 2 banks, upgrade corporate hub, upgrade core banking) and rally teams towards the same purpose.
HER STORY
Having played key roles at the helm of transformation projects, she believes that success comes only when every member of the unit is engaged and respected for their contribution / skills. She plays by these values and it’s seen in the success of several large projects, professional groups she’s associated with.

When she’s not busy with transformation projects, she loves traveling. She has traveled to 25+ countries across 6 continents and 23 states within India. During these travels, she loves interacting with people from different backgrounds, cultures and history. It helps her deeply understand what drives people and ensures that she continues to stay grateful for everything the Earth provides us.
Gayatri has personally benefited from several women who have journeyed the workspace prior to her - in nurturing ambition, creating policies, building role models and ensuring safety in numbers. Consequently, she has been inspired to create more equitable spaces in companies such as Infosys, Fidelity and DBS. She has also played a key role in building women communities as Community Lead for Anitab.org India.
She believes that the best way to pay forward is by providing her shoulders for a leg up to as many women as possible. She carries this belief into her role as Co-founder and Rallyist to build meaningful partnerships with the entrepreneur, investor and other impact organization ecosystems to create a space that is collaborative, not competitive.
“To WIN a race, you have to be IN the race” is the mantra she lives by. She uses this to remind herself in many hairy situations that one has to create self-belief and confidence to stay true to their path. This has also helped her during her mentoring and coaching sessions, which in-turn has helped provide clarity for others in their chosen paths.

Gayatri is an Engineering Graduate from NIT Trichy (India) and an MBA (Strategy and Business Operations) from Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai (India).
